SCS Musicals Beginnings

Our beginning dates to 1976 as Scugog Choral Society, staging choral concerts and operettas at Town Hall 1873 for friends and local music lovers.  We remain proud of our beginnings and of who we are today, performing some of Broadway's biggest and brightest musicals, original and Canadian content and earning several community theatre awards along the way!  SCS Musicals is Scugog and North Durham Region's longest standing Community Musical Theatre group! At SCS Musicals  we make it a priority to deliver quality musical theatre entertainment and Broadway blockbusters to our local audiences and community stage.  We were the first amateur theatre group in the Greater Toronto Area to perform the mammoth international hit MAMMA MIA! (Dec. 2018) which ran for 12 sold-out performances at Town Hall 1873 Theatre!
